What are the available learning materials in the LR Portal and the LRMDS website?
06 /

The LR Portal basically contains all quality assured learning materials, curriculum guides and teaching guides from elementary levels to senior high schools.

The LRMDS website, on the other hand, contains contextualized, localized and indigenized materials that were developed by the Division’s pool of writers and quality assured by the Division’s quality assurance team. All materials have undergone division clearance for division publication of learning materials.

How can I share additional materials in the LRMDS website?

Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to www._____

  2. Go to Resources tab.

  3. Choose which material you are going to download. Open the link.

  4. Browse from the wide selection of TLMs. Select the material.

  5. At the upper right corner, you would see the download button.

  6. Click the download button.

Important considerations:

  1. All materials that are uploaded on the website have undergone division quality assurance. Thus, any submission for additional materials must be checked first by the division pool of evaluators.

  2. All submissions must be done in word file format (soft copy).

  3. In case you would share an online material taken from a website, copy the URL of the material, and save it in a word file format.

Option 1: You may inform your school head about your plan of sharing material to the website. Other teachers might have the same passion, and therefore would save your school head the rush over forwarding materials one at a time. School heads or any arrangement that you and your school head has agreed on will submit the soft copy to the division PDO.

Option 2: Given that you have properly notified your school head about your plan, you may directly contact the division PDO about it.

                    Follow the steps below:

  1. Open the LRMDS website.

  2. At the bottom right corner, you would see a chat icon.

  3. Click the chat icon. Fill in the necessary details.

  4. Wait for the administrator’s response.

  5. Most importantly, leave out your DepEd email address so the administrators can give you feedback through it.

What kinds of materials can be shared in the LRMDS website?

Files that can be shared to the website are the following:

  1. Contextualized, localized, indigenized materials (soft copy)

  2. Files from other websites – videos, documents, books, supplementary TLMs provided they virus-free and no copyright issues

10 /
What are the processes for a personally developed TLM to get published in the LRMDS website?

Follow these steps:

  1. Follow Option 1 or 2 for “How can I share additional materials in the LRMDS website?”

  2. Wait for a notification in your DepEd email for the status of your material. The email would most likely to contain either of the following: (1) full acceptance of the paper without revision; or (2) partial acceptance of the paper, thus minor or major revisions are to be made following the guidelines and suggestions made by the division pool of evaluators.

11 /
What can I get in return from sharing a personally developed TLM to the website?

You will receive a certificate of appreciation and a certificate for division publication.

12 /
Do you accept feature stories?

Feature stories are very much welcome. They must highlight good practices that you personally do or of the school in general that are worth sharing and emulating.

This is a way of giving inspiration to all teachers and schools to continue that passion in providing better learning opportunities to the students.

13 /
How does the website maintain credibility over the materials made available for sharing and downloading?

The LRMDS team together with the division pool of writers, illustrators, layout artists, and evaluators made sure that only those materials that passed the division standard (which is also parallel to the national standards of quality TLMs) get uploaded in the website.

In the case of slight discrepancies, anyone is encouraged and welcomed to message the administrator for possible suggestions for revision. A review will then be made accordingly.

14 /
How to become a member of the division pool of writers, illustrators, layout artist and quality evaluators?
  1. A memorandum will be issued once a year to call aspirants to become a member of the team.

  2. Applications will be screened by the LRMDS team.

  3. Another memorandum will be issued to announce the successful applicants.
